About Ride On

More than
a bike shop.

Ride On opened in Høvik in 2025. Our 300 m² space brings together a workshop for all brands, Canyon test rides, expert advice, parts, equipment and a cycling community. Ride On is Norway's only Canyon Experience Partner, and the workshop is certified by Shimano, SRAM and Bosch.

Founder

Rajeev
Gjelsvik.

Rajeev is a dedicated cyclist with a lifelong passion for the sport. Originally from Nepal, where he was a national mountain bike champion, he combines experience from high-level racing with a gift for inspiring people and bringing them together.

As head coach of Asker CK, he has helped both young riders and experienced cyclists. He has also organised memorable cycling trips, including adventures in the mountains of Nepal.

Rajeev has worked as a rider, coach, mechanic and entrepreneur. Together, these roles have given him a deep understanding of technical precision and what makes a great cycling experience.

He believes cycling can improve health, support more sustainable choices and bring genuine joy. His ambition is for Ride On to help create lasting memories on two wheels.

“Ride On is not just about bicycles. It is about freedom, community, sustainability and creating lasting memories on two wheels.”

Ride On Community

Become part of
the community.

It is easier to improve, stay motivated and discover new routes when we ride together. Ride On Community offers a safe, social setting with practical help along the way.

Ride On Community Ride

Every Wednesday at 18:00.

A relaxed, social road ride at an average pace of around 25 km/h. Ride the climbs at your own pace and regroup at the top. No one is left behind.

A mechanic joins the group in case anything happens. A few bad jokes are part of the package.

  • Bring food, drink and basic equipment
  • We wait and help with punctures
  • Gravel and mountain bikes are welcome if you can maintain the pace
  • Weekend rides are announced in Flokk
